The aim of this event is to bring attention to the problem of sustainability in science and start the discussion on how we can reduce the environmental impact at our institute.
The event will feature My Green Lab, an organisation whose aim is "Building a Global Culture of Sustainability in Science". Their talk will include some sustainability tips and tricks and examples of how sustainable practices have been integrated into similar institutions.
We will also hear from speaker Sven Le Moine-Bauer, a member of the first lab in Norway to be certified by My Green Lab and his talk will be titled "The recycLABle project: Our path to a greener lab".
