Lecture by Mich Genangeli* (Bruker): Mass spectrometry imaging (MSI) made simple; A true) Multi-Omics necessary tool for Cancer and biological research.
What is it? What can it do? (1h 20 min + questions)

Short coffee break / refreshments

11:00-13:00       K04.120, 4th floor

Part III:               Project discussions for CanCell members only.

*Mich Genangeli has double degree PhD in Imaging mass spectrometry applied to Cancer research and General Surgery at the M4i Institute in Maastricht (the Netherlands) and now works as a Manager responsible for the Life Sciences Mass Spectrometry division for the Netherlands, Italy and Nordic Countries in Bruker. His lecture will focus on how MALDI mass spectrometry imaging allows the simultaneous visualization and localization of thousands of biological molecules from a tissue slice.  Metabolites, Drugs, Lipids, Peptides + Targeted protein identification from a single tissue slide.
