The four representatives from various cancer patient organisations were given presentations from Jørgen Wesche and Harald Stenmark about the research performed at the centre with focus on metastases. The presentations were followed by a visit to the labs and light microscopy core facilities to give the representatives some introduction to how the cancer research actually is performed that hopefully may benefit their users in the future. The visit was concluded with a lunch where researchers from Eskeland's and Wesches' groups discussed with the user panel.
CanCell greatly appreciates the time and interest the user panel invest in our work and are grateful for their contribution. Another user panel meeting will be organised in the spring of 2020.
