Presentation

I have a degree in medicine from the University of Oslo, worked with General Surgery and I am currently a clinical research fellow at the Department of Gastrointestinal and Pediatric Surgery, Institute of Clinical Medicine.

I work in Mucosal Immunology in regards to intestinal diseases, and teach medical students Gastrointestinal surgery and propaedeutics.

Research in temporary positions can often be a search for results and publications under time pressure, and with a lot of uncertainty. I want to work to ensure that research becomes a safe process for skills development, innovation and lasting professional development, with an easier transition to permanent employment.

Election program

  • Visibility of and investment in attractive research dissemination, stimulate better qualitative recruitment for research, and the formation of good and long-term research groups recruited from today's temporary employees.
  • Increased focus on societal innovation for the faculty's research and facilitate the implementation of research and publication results for tangible products (e.g. new medicines, patient treatments, interventions, etc.)
  • Work for better framework conditions for predictable and structured projects and PhD courses, so that the results and degrees can be achieved as much as possible in the standard time.
  • Retain and increase the number of lecturers and clinical fellows.
  • Gender balance and diversity
  • Facilitate interaction and collaboration between PhD students within and across the departments.
