Presentation
I have a degree in medicine from the University of Oslo, worked with General Surgery and I am currently a clinical research fellow at the Department of Gastrointestinal and Pediatric Surgery, Institute of Clinical Medicine.
I work in Mucosal Immunology in regards to intestinal diseases, and teach medical students Gastrointestinal surgery and propaedeutics.
Research in temporary positions can often be a search for results and publications under time pressure, and with a lot of uncertainty. I want to work to ensure that research becomes a safe process for skills development, innovation and lasting professional development, with an easier transition to permanent employment.
Election program
- Visibility of and investment in attractive research dissemination, stimulate better qualitative recruitment for research, and the formation of good and long-term research groups recruited from today's temporary employees.
- Increased focus on societal innovation for the faculty's research and facilitate the implementation of research and publication results for tangible products (e.g. new medicines, patient treatments, interventions, etc.)
- Work for better framework conditions for predictable and structured projects and PhD courses, so that the results and degrees can be achieved as much as possible in the standard time.
- Retain and increase the number of lecturers and clinical fellows.
- Gender balance and diversity
- Facilitate interaction and collaboration between PhD students within and across the departments.
