Aleksandra has worked at Oslo and Akershus University College of Applied Sciences / OsloMet as coordinator of the doctoral program at the Faculty of Teacher Education and International Studies, management support for Rector Curt Rice and management support for head of department at the Faculty of Technology, Art and Design. She has previous experience as subject coordinator at the Reaktorskolen and teacher and project manager at the Department of Literature, Area Studies and European Languages at the Faculty of Humanities, University of Oslo.

The book contains proceedings of the Third Congress of Polish Studies Abroad. All the papers delivered at the Congress are in this volume. The focus on the main subject which is "literature, culture and Polish language in the world contexts and contacts". The papers are the evidence of the richness of problems and modern research tendencies in Polishe studies practised around the world as well as in Poland. Many of the studies take into account the comparative aspect and present view on Polish literature and language from the point of view of other cultures and languages.
