About the Chemical Biology Screening Platform

The Chemical Biology High-throughput Screening (HTS) facility was established in 2008 and offers competence and tools that enable researchers and biotech companies to discover small molecules to probe, explore and modulate biological systems.

We are equipped with automated screening instrumentation that can be used together with our own compound collections or with proprietary compounds/biologics provided by customers.

A large number of biochemical or cell-based screening methods are available and analysis is carried out using recognized industry standard software. We also develop in-house computational methods customized for the user needs unmet by available software.

We can assist you if you have a project with specific computational need or otherwise need support with bioinformatics analysis.

Additionally, we have extensive experience in modulating protein-protein interactions, intracellular flow cytometry screens, Cancer Drug Sensitivity Screening (CDSS) and drug combination screening. Our expertise in liquid handling robotics also allows us to adapt your novel assay into a format suitable for HTS.

We are members of the Norwegian chemical biology network NOR-OPENSCREEN which is the Norwegian node of EU-OPENSCREEN.
