Postdoc or PhD from Ukraine

EU has announced fellowships for postdoctoral researchers and PhDs who were displaced due to the war in Ukraine. Deadline: 5 September 2024. 

MSCA4Ukraine Initiative

The MSCA4Ukraine initiative will support researchers displaced from Ukraine. Applications must be submitted by prospective host organisations on behalf of displaced researcher(s) from Ukraine (candidate(s)). For planned applications with UiO as host organisations, please contact Senior Adviser Marit Egner.

Eligibility

Candidates may be either postdoctoral researchers or researchers who, on or after 24 February 2022, were enrolled as doctoral candidates at a higher educational institution in Ukraine, and who have been displaced from Ukraine on or after 24 February 2022 are eligible to be nominated. Only one proposal per individual researcher can be submitted. Current and former MSCA4Ukraine fellows are not eligible to be nominated.

Funding and duration

Fellowships will be awarded for a minimum of 6 months, up to a maximum of 24 
months. Fellowship rates will be in line with those of Marie SkÅ‚odowska-Curie Actions 
(MSCA) Doctoral Networks and MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships.
