Communicating research

During this course you will learn how to communicate and disseminate your research.

Communication and dissemination

You will learn how impact and communication are tied closely together, and you will get several tools on how to reach relevant target groups. We recommend to take the course before the course on writing grant applications, because the content is aligned.

  • Make plans on communication regarding funding and projects
  • Disseminate research through social media
  • Be visible in the public dialogue

Expected learning outcomes

  • How to identify relevant target groups
  • How to identify a relevant channel for your public outreach
  • How to make yourself visible in the public dialogue.

Course dates and venue 2024

  • 30 September - 1 October 
    • Apply within 1 September

The course will take place at Blindern (Stort møterom, Georg Sverdrups Hus).

Participation

You must attend at least 80 per cent of the course. Attendance will be registered.

Registration and course fee

The course consists of seminars and teamwork with individual preparation. By signing up for the course, you are committed to attend the course and do preparatory activities.
