Scientia highlights in 2022

We are happy to present highlights from an active and inspirational year. A total of 86 fellows from all continents (except Antarctica!) have now been employed in the programme.

Some of our highlights in 2022

  • The very last call has been completed, and a total of 86 fellows from all continents except Antarctica have now been employed in the programme.
  • The Scientia Podcast was officially launched on 14 December 2022 and is available on Spotify and Apple. In this exciting, educational and fun project, the fellows interview each other and external guests about science and what it is like to live and work in a foreign country.
  • At the Summer Party in June, the fellows were introduced to shrimps and each other at Gressholmen - a lovely place in Oslo's archipelago, just a short boat ride from the city centre.
  • In addition, many have taken part in breakfast meetings and after work pizza throughout the year, where, in addition to different topics, mingling and networking have been important.
  • The digital pitch meeting has become a regularly, monthly activity, where we get to hear about the fellows' exciting research projects in 5 minutes.
  • Digital open office is a low-threshold offer. Several fellows have joined and asked about things they wonder about. In addition, our door is open to make contact at any time.
  • Now we are working towards next year's highlight – the annual Scientia fellows conference in February. We hope to see everyone there and look forward to getting to know you and your research even better!
