    The results of Nolwenn Briand's Scientia Fellows project were published in Human molecular genetics and made the cover of the journal. 

    Briand is a member of the research group "Chromatin regulation in adipose stem cellsworks" in CollasLab, at the Department of molecular medicine, and has been a fellow in the Scientia Fellows-programme since October 2015.

    At the 2018 Scientia Fellows Coffee meetings we discussed Research communication and "Pitching your research". Communication coach Terje Lindberg guided the participants through the main building blocks for a pitch.

    The picture shows Thomas Olafsen, senior communications advisor, and the groups of fellows attending the session on communication. In addition, some informal social gatherings were organized.

    Postdoctoral fellows from the Scientia Fellows programme and friends participated in the Holmenkoll relay

    Holmenkollstafetten is an annual big sports event in Oslo. It is a 15-leg running relay which is open to everyone - professionals, businesses and other groups.

    Each year around 45 - 50.000 people attend the relay and it is actually often called "the spring`s most beautiful adventure". Some say that is one of largest athletic events in Norway, if not the largest.

    The relay starts at Bislett Stadium, goes up to Holmenkollen and returns back at the stadium. The length of the relay vary in length between 370 meters and 2840 meters. Photo: UiO

    5. In 2018 we continued the preparations for Scientia Fellows II (2019-2024). Representatives from the Universities of Vilnius, Ljubljana and the Cyprus School of Molecular Medicine joined us to discuss future collaborations in Scientia Fellows II.
