Re-scheduled/new examination

A re-scheduled examination is held for examinees with a legitimate absence from an ordinary examination if no ordinary examination will be held in the following semester.

An exception applies to the Masters programme in Psychosocial Work and the Bachelor/Masters program in Nutrition in the joint semester with the Medicine programme. In these programmes/courses a re-scheduled examination is held for any candidate with a legitimate absence from the examination, regardless of whether an ordinary examination is held every semester.

An application for a re-scheduled examination must be sent to the programme's Study Administration.

Generally, a new examination (re-sit examination) will not be held for students who have failed an examination. If a re-scheduled examination is held, students who failed the ordinary examination may be given permit to sit a new examination (re-sit examination) with those who have been given a re-scheduled examination due to a legitimate absence.

A re-scheduled/new examination may be given in another form than the ordinary examination. If another examination form is used for the re-scheduled/new examination, students must be informed of this change at the latest 1 week prior to the re-scheduled/new examination.
