Permit to take an examination, number of examination attempts

A student may not take an examination in a semester before having passed their examinations from previous semesters.

A student may not present herself/himself for an examination in a course more than three times. In special circumstances an exemption may be made from this rule. The Faculty determines whether to grant an application for an exemption with regards to the number of examination attempts,

Medicine, Dentistry and Nutrition have identical examinations in their joint semesters. If a student fails an examination (for example MEDSEM2, ODSEM2 or ERNSEM2), this also counts as a failed examination for the purposes of the other two programmes of study.
