Online nomination and application system
The University of Oslo has implemented an online nomination and application system. UiO's partner institutions must nominate students and upload their supporting documents in the University of Oslo online nomination system.
Nominated students will then be invited to complete their application for exchange to UiO in the online application service for students, "Søknadsweb". Nominated students will receive an email with instructions on how to apply. Please also see How to apply in the UiO online application service "Søknadsweb"
Nomination and Application Deadlines
Partner institutions are asked to nominate students as early as possible and before 15 April (autumn semester and the whole academic year) or 15 October (for spring semester only).
Applications should be completed online at the very latest:
- 1 May for the autumn semester (August - December)
- 15 October for the spring semester (January - May)
Please note that either the applicant or the nominator should upload
- a transcript of records,
- the ID page of the passport (or the national ID card for EU citizens)
- We prefer the Online Learning Agreeement, OLA, so that it is not necessary to upload the paper version with your online application.
