Academic and Exchange Details
- Nomination and Application for Incoming Erasmus+ Students: Before applying, students must be nominated online by their home institution https://www.uio.no/english/studies/admission/exchange/nomination.html
- Nomination and Application Deadlines are: 1 May (preferably nominate by 15 April) for studies in the autumn semester and 15 October for studies in the spring semester
- Nominated Students Must Complete an Online Application: https://www.uio.no/english/studies/admission/exchange/application.html
- Please note that either the nominator or the applicants should upload a Transcript of Records, as well as the ID page of passport or national ID card

Semester Dates Medical Programme
- Autumn 2023: 7 August - 15 December
- Spring 2024: 5 February* - 21 June *Exchange students have to rent housing from 1 January, and the Orientation Week will take place early January. Norwegian classes will also start in January
- The above dates are the accurate to put on the Learning Agreements, except for spring semester students wishing to take part in the Orientation Week

Medical Course offered in English
Module 6, MED5600 The main subjects are Gynaecology, Obstetrics, Paediatrics, and Global Health. B2-level in English recommended.
Medical Courses offered in Norwegian, and open to Exchange Students with knowledge of Norwegian
Module 4, MED4400 The main subjects are Neurology, ENT, Ophthalmology, and Pharmacology. B2-level in Norwegian recommended.
Module 5, MED4500R The main subjects are Pharmacology (continued from MED4400), Psychiatry, and Forensic Medicine. B2-level in Norwegian recommended.
