The network is nationwide and currently consists of 90 general practice clinics organized through four regional networks (East, West, Central, and North) and a coordinating unit at the University of Bergen. PraksisNett East covers the areas of Viken, Oslo, Innlandet, Vestfold and Telemark, and Aust-Agder, and is anchored at the Department of general practice. PraksisNett is a joint, national initiative from general practice research environments. The project is funded by the Research Council of Norway and the partners in the project.
We are looking to establish contact with general practice clinics in our region who are interested in becoming a part of PraksisNett. General practice clinics that become affiliated with PraksisNett will receive an annual base grant and must participate in at least one research project annually. Participation will be compensated for time spent on each project. In all studies conducted through PraksisNett, data protection will be ensured according to applicable regulations and assessments from regional research ethics committees.
For general information about PraksisNett and the application portal for interested researchers, please visit the coordinating unit at UiB (University of Bergen).
