Academic interests
My research revolves around health, health services and demography. I am interested in policy aims, policy implementation and policy effects. I work with both quantitative and qualitative methods. I have expertise in administrative data, and causal identification using quasi-experimental techniques. More details on what I work with is on my webpage.
Background
I defended my PhD in sociology at the University of Oslo in 2016. I have MA degrees in sociology (University of Oslo, 2010) and demography (2011, Lund University). I have worked as a researcher at Statistics Norway (2011-2016), and at the Norwegian Institute of Public Health (2018-). I have a part-time position of the Centre of Fertility and Health, where I work with the BIOSFER project.
