Information meeting about new calls from GLOBVAC

Advisors from the GLOBVAC programme in the Research Council of Norway will inform about the new calls and priorities.

Background

Recently the Programme for Global Health and Vaccination Research (GLOBVAC) allocated NOK 265 million to 18 new projects in the largest call ever for a health programme at the Research Council of Norway. Now GLOBVAC has started to prepare the grounds for the next round of calls and visit researchers all over Norway.

The GLOBVAC programme encompasses broad global health issues, giving priority to projects in the areas of vaccine and vaccination research, family planning, reproductive health and maternal/child health, health system and health policy research, technology and methods development, and implementation research.

Recently GLOBVAC invited researchers in Norway and internationally to suggest research topics for projects with potential for high impact, so called game changers. The programme received almost 70 suggestions and the selected priorities will be included in the next calls for 2014 and 2015.

  • Events and PhD grants, September 3rd 2014
  • Submission of full research project proposals and Young Scientist Grants, February 11th 2015
