The University of Oslo Festival 2017 brought a variety of events, lectures and concerts life between the 12th and 14th of May. And in true academic spirit, it did not circumvent an enthusiastic discussion about the most pressing and challenging issues that the world is facing today – Globalisation and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Professor Andrea S. Winkler, the Director of the UiO Centre for Global Health, participated this week at the "Global Partners Meeting on Neglected Tropical Diseases" at WHO HQ in Geneva on April 19, followed by a 3-day NTD Summit organised by Uniting to Combat, to celebrate the 5th year anniversary of the WHO Roadmap targets for NTDs and the signing of the London Declaration.
