Selected students will have access to office facilities at Institute of Health and Society from November 2014 and for the duration of the stipend period.
We are looking for master students with an overall interest in and desire to work with questions related to global health both from a clinical and a public health perspective. Applicants will have to write a master’s thesis with topics related to relevant issues in global health.
In addition to working on the master thesis, the recipients of the stipend will have weekly duties appointed by the Centre for global health.
Applicants must
- Be fluent in English. Some knowledge of Norwegian is appreciated.
- Have interests in working with global health related issues in an interdisciplinary setting.
- Have interest in working with social media and net-based communication.
- By September 2014 have started the first semester of a Master’s programme at the University of Oslo.
The application should include
- A project outline, including research topic, theoretical framework/concept, methodology.
- An updated CV, including grades.
- A motivation letter of why you wish to participate in the work of the Centre for global health.
