16,5 mill NOK for colon cancer research

Two large research grants for the Clinical Effectiveness Research group

The Clinical Effectiveness Research group has been awarded a 4-year, 8.9 mill. NOK grant from The Norwegian Research Council for the SAR-study (Surveillance after Adenoma Removal). SAR is a large study on the risk of colorectal cancer after removal of adenomas in patients with adenomas.

They also got a Southern and Eastern Norway Regional Health Authority grant on 7.6 mill NOK for the EPoS-group (European Polyp Surveillance) in a 3-year project on several trials in colon cancer follow-up.
