About the group
The goal of our research group is to contribute to research on infectious diseases and antibiotic use in primary healthcare. This is done in close collaboration with the Antibiotic Centre for Primary Care to ensure rapid dissemination and implementation of new knowledge. Our research encompasses intervention studies targeting both patients and general practitioners, epidemiology, quantitative and qualitative research on patients' and doctors' experiences, registry research, collaborative projects, and quality improvement projects. We have a broad portfolio of EU/NFR projects, PhD projects supported by the The Norwegian Research Fund for General Practice, smaller projects supported by the Primary Care Research Committee, and project assignments for medical students as part of their professional medical training.
