The national researcher schools in epidemiology (EPINOR), global health (NRSGH), general practice (NAFALM) and heart research (NORHEART) are organizing a supervisor seminar for its members.

Cand.san. Anette Hansen at Institute of Health and Society will be defending the thesis “Managing the Psychosocial Needs of Older Home-Dwelling Persons with Dementia - from the Perspectives of Health Care Professionals” for the degree of PhD (Philosophiae Doctor).

Cand.san. Anette Hansen at Institute of Health and Society will give a trial lecture on the given topic: Research methods for collecting and analyzing qualitative data in relation to studies of attitudes and practices of health professionals.

The theme of this years Global Mental Health Day is 'Global Psychiatry and Neurology - the new number one burden of disease'. The seminar will feature eminent experts from Asia, Latin America and Europe.

MD Nilam Shakeel at Institute of Health and Society will be defending the thesis “Depressive symptoms in pregnant and postpartum women. The role of ethnicity, level of integration, and physical activity—the STORK–Groruddalen population-based cohort study” for the degree of PhD (Philosophiae Doctor).

The aims of the meeting are to consider possible affiliations with other organizations and to review recent strategies/work on e-health literacy/ digital literacy.
