Are we as individuals already created, or is continuous creation taking place? Is the individual a state or a process?
With technological innovations, transhumanism, and the way new technologies connect us, we have begun to change our behaviour. When Julia Kristeva places the individual and individuality in the centre of the political pact, a number of questions arise. Is the individual political? What role do ideals play in the construction of identity? What are these ideals? Is freedom a creative or a boundary-crossing practice?
