Associate professor Anne Kveim Lie received the Edudation award on UiO’s Annual festivities 2018. She received the prize for her deeply dedication and commitment to the education of medical students. She held the lecture “Medical education as an arena for unlearning?”. We have asked her to give her lecture again on Thursday September 20th. The lecture will most likely be held in Norwegian.
Salma A. Eljailani Ahmed, newly graduated from the Mphil in International Communtiy Health was on of three master students at UiO awarded with the prize related to UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.it was the first time this prize was awarded at uiO She won with her thesis: "I feel myself incomplete, and I am inferior to people. Experiences of Sudanese Women Living with Obstetric Fistula: A qualitative study in Khartoum, Sudan." Salma is currently in Sudan. Professor Johanne Sundby wil present her work in English.
