As part of the collaboration, the Women’s Health Research Program has recruited many nurses and midwives for masters and PhD.  Last year two PhD candidates and one M.phil student graduated through the program in Norway, and this year, three PhD candidates and one M.phil student completed their research. Several masters programs have also been established in Kamuzu College of Nursing, and the collaboration has resulted in several co-published research papers between Norwegian and Malawian research fellows.

Ambassador Asbjørn Eidhammer in Malawi was one of the guests of honor at the seminar. Read more about the seminar at the Embassy webpage.
