New postdoctoral fellow at the Hybrid Technology Hub

Hybrid Technology Hubs most recent addition is postdocotral fellow Pavel Vasquez. Pavel is a bioinformatician and will develop an open access platform for the large amount of data collected from the organ on a chip-platform.

Pavel has a PhD and a master's degree in computer Science from Morels autonomous  University in Mexico, and bachelor's degree in physics. So far his main line of work has been on algorithm design and data analytics. Pavel has previously participated in multidisciplinary environments within diverse topics, that include ecology and sustainability science. His most recent research has been on the development of a computational model aimed to be used as a tool for policy making. He has presented this model as a way to study society as a complex system, presenting this model as a tool for decision making.

While working within the Center of Excellence, Pavel will pursue the construction of an platform with novel technologies that will provide solutions of storage and manipulation of the large quantities of data that is constantly generated from the organ on a chip-platform and elsewhere with the center.
