HTH project recieves funding for innovation from UiO

Project leader Stefan Krauss and HTH researcher Jo Waaler recieves 800 000 NOK from UiO for the project "Benchmarking and expansion of application area of the WNT/tankyrase inhibitor OM-153". 

The funding will be used to finalize the preclinical stage for the tankyrase inhibitor OM-153 and will be fundamental in attracting private investments to iniate clinical trials. The tankyrase inhibitor OM-153 can block tumor growth in a broad spector of cancer types.

UiO funding for innovation and verification is awarded to innovation projects in an early stage of development to verify that the project has the potential to be innovative and deliver on a state of the art level.
