Kayoko Shoji received funding for an educational summer research project for students entitled “Engineering 3D muscle fibers and electrical stimulation” from UiO:Life Science. The duration is for 6 weeks and two students will be assigned to the project. The primary goal is to develop a setup, which can give electrical stimulation to engineered 3D muscle fibers quantitatively and to evaluate the effect of the stimulation. Steffen Nøvik will be the main supervisor of the project.
