Ingrid has a Master’s degree in Genetics and Developmental Biology from the University of Oslo in addition to a Bachelor’s degree in Bioscience and has previously studied basic medical sciences. During her master’s, Ingrid worked on an interdisciplinary project aimed at expanding the use of photodynamic therapy as a treatment model for cancer. She was later hired to work as a researcher at the Radium Hospital’s Institute for Cancer Research.
At the Hybrid Technology Hub, Ingrid will work on the development of a liver organ-on-a-chip platform for the modelling of hepatic fibrosis and drug discovery with a focus on targeting the Wnt-β-catenin signalling pathway.
