Dr. Junya Shoji joins the Hybrid Technology Hub

Dr. Junya Shoji is the latest addition to the Hybrid Technology Hub team.

Junya is a fungal biologist with expertise in cell biology, plant-microbe interactions, phytopathology, metagenomics, and data analysis. He has Junya got a Ph.D. degree in biotechnology from the University of Tokyo.

At The Hybrid Technology Hub, Junya will work on mapping the past and current organoid research, ranging from academia to industry. The work is done as a part of the EU-funded HYBRIDA project which aims to develop a regulatory framework for organoids, and organoids-related technologies.

In his spare time, Junya likes cooking, baking, taking a walk, and writing novels.
