Centre PI , Bioinformatician and group leader at Department of Medical Genetics, OUS, Simon Rayner will a give short overview of the goals of Bioinformatics WP5 in the Hybrid Technoloy Hub, and he will talk about how we interact within the center.

Speaker: Marieke Kuijjer, Group Leader for Computational Biology and Systems Medicine, Norwegian Centre for Molecular Medicine (NCMM), University of Oslo.

Centre leader Stefan Krauss will present the latest development and future plans for the Centre.

Speaker: Pekka Marttinen, Assistant Professor, Helsinki Institute for Information Technology HIIT, Department of Computer Science, Aalto University, Finland.

Bjørn Erik Juel at Institute of Basic Medical Sciences will be defending the thesis “Electrophysiological Markers of Consciousness: Measures of connectivity, complexity, and signal diversity in EEG for distinguishing between conscious and unconscious brain states” for the degree of PhD (Philosophiae Doctor).

M.Sc. Bjørn Erik Juel at Institute of Basic Medical Sciences will give a trial lecture on the given topic: Transient loss of consciousness: Causes, symptoms and diagnostic procedures.
