This paper presents a model fitting approach, where the model parameters (ion-channel conductances) are fitted in a stepwise manner and aims to reproduce membrane potential dynamics in the soma and along the dendrites. The method could prove useful for fitting to data from voltage-sensitive dye (VSD) imaging techniques.

The other two European SPARK programs visit Oslo this summer to share their experiences, and one of UiO's PhD students will test the program's summer school in Japan.
Perineuronal nets (PNNs) are proposed as a key regulator of plasticity in the adult brain.
In this paper we show that the expression of PNNs differ between visual cortex, hippocampus and the medial entorhinal cortex (mEC).
