The Electoral Board ensures that the elections are carried out in accordance with UiO's election regulations, monitors the election count, and makes all decisions that are not assigned to another body in connection with the elections.
The appointment of the department's Election Committee is made by the faculty board. The Electoral Board shall consist of two academic staff, one technical-administrative staff, and one student.

Electoral commitee
The Committee consists of two academic staff, one technical-administrative staff, and one student. The Election Committee's mandate, in accordance with section 2-3, is to ensure that job descriptions are made known to both voters and potential candidates, and that the candidates are presented in a way that provides voters with a solid basis for assessing their qualifications for the role. The Committee can actively seek and propose suitable candidates.
