Academic interests

I am highly interested in the link between neurotransmission, cellular activity, neuronal networks and psychology, studied through the scope of in vivo, ex vivoin vitro and in silico approaches.

Courses taught

Background

After my High School Diploma in Engineering and Mathematics, I obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and a Master's Degree in "Cellular and Integrated Neurosciences" at the University of Strasbourg in France. For my Master's thesis under supervision of Dr Perrine Inquimbert, I studied the link between the CAPS2 protein in peptidergic primary afferent fibres, peptidergic activity in the dorsal horn of the spinal cord, and pain behaviour in mice.

I am now performing a PhD under supervision of Pr Hua Hu, Dr Iulia Glovaci and Pr Torkel Hafting at the University of Oslo in Norway. I mainly use electrophysiology (Patch-Clamp) to study the connectivity pattern and functional property of inhibitory interneurons in the hippocampal dentate gyrus neuronal network in mice.
