Background
I completed my PhD at the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne i 1995. My first postdoctoral period was in Umeå in the north of Sweden, where I worked with NK cells under the supervision of Charles Sentman. After this, I spent 6 years in San Francisco in the lab of Bill Seaman, before I came to Oslo in 2004. Here I worked together with Bent Rolstad, John Torgils Vaage, Erik Dissen and Sigbjørn Fossum. Since 2015 I have had a full professor position.
