How to apply for access to the collection for research purposes

The first step is to submit an enquiry for professional assessment of your project.

If you wish to carry out research on the material, you must apply for a professional assessment of your project by filling out our web form.

Subsequently, relevant material can be identified, an ethical assessment by the Skeleton Commission can be applied for, and any other necessary approvals obtained.

Inquiries

Inquiries are answered continuously. A response time of up to 3 weeks must be expected, depending on demand. The collection is closed during holiday periods such as Christmas, Easter and joint holidays in the summer. Inquiries submitted when the collection is closed will be answered after this.
