OrgDiet - A study on Diet in Pregnancy

We will investigate what pregnant women should eat, and whether organic diet during pregnancy affects the health of mother and child.

The dietary advice given to pregnant women follows the Norwegian Directorate of Health´s recommendations and it is well documented that this reduces the risk of many chronic diseases, but there are few studies that have examined pregnant women´s needs and no one has studied the effects of organic diet.
