Klinmed-LAMU participates in the planning of the protection and environmental work, as well as follow developments in matters concerning the safety, health and welfare of the employees.
Klinmed-LAMU addresses and deals with issues related to the working environment at the institute. The committee participates in planning safety and environmentally-related work and follows up on initiatives.
Klinmed-LAMU may request that the institute's management put forward measures or conduct investigations.

- Occupational health service and the internal safety service (vernetjenesten)
- Training, instruction, and information activities
- Plans that may have a significant impact on the working environment
- Establishment and maintenance of the organization's systematic health, safety, and environment work
- Health and welfare-related issues related to working hours
