Klinmed-LAMU

The Local Working Environment Comittee at Klinmed (Klinmed-LAMU) work to implement a fully responsible working environment at the institute.

Klinmed-LAMU participates in the planning of the protection and environmental work, as well as follow developments in matters concerning the safety, health and welfare of the employees.

Klinmed-LAMU addresses and deals with issues related to the working environment at the institute. The committee participates in planning safety and environmentally-related work and follows up on initiatives.

Klinmed-LAMU may request that the institute's management put forward measures or conduct investigations.

Areas of responsibility
 

Klinmed-LAMU's areas of responsibility involve treatment of

  • Focus areas for the institute's HSE work
  • Review and follow-up of the HSE annual report
  • The management's review
  • Matters of principle and overall importance
  • Input for the institute's annual plan
  • Budget input in relation to HSE measures

The local working environment committee shall, among other things, discuss

  • Action plan for health, safety, and environment
  • Occupational health service and the internal safety service (vernetjenesten)
  • Training, instruction, and information activities
  • Plans that may have a significant impact on the working environment
  • Establishment and maintenance of the organization's systematic health, safety, and environment work
  • Health and welfare-related issues related to working hours
