Clinic for Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Diseases
The Division of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Diseases is a large division by European standards and is tasked both with research as well as the education of healthcare personnel.
The division treats patients with cardiovascular and pulmonary diseases. This, combined with the fact that the division has two research departments, means that comprehensive research activity is conducted of the basic, clinical and translational varieties. Extensive education is conducted for medical students, physicians and other heatlhcare workers, and the division produces a dozen PhDs each year.
