Division of Health Services Research and psychiatry
The division is integrated into the Research Centre at Akershus University Hospital (Ahus).
The employees are primarily conducting research in teamwork, communications, quality of service and healthcare economics.
The efforts in healthcare research are concentrated in three thematic areas: quality of care and clinical epidemiology, organisation and user perspectives, and operations analysis.
In psychiatry, efforts are concentrated in the areas of quality and treatment implementation, the experiences of users and next-of-kin, and psychological dysfunctions in possible combination with somatic illnesses.
The division is headed by an Associate Professor (healthcare research) Hilde Lurås, and has a total of seven employees, of which there are two Professors and one Adjunct Professor.
