About the work

Dr. Rootwelt-Norberg is part of ProCardio Center for Innovation which is an SFI (Senter for Forskningsdrevet Innovasjon, Center for Reasearch Driven Innovation, funded by the Research Council of Norway).

At ProCardio, research partners and the industry work together to develop products of importance for the health care services and the patients. Dr. Rootwelt-Norberg has genetic cardiology as her main research interest, with particular focus on the conditions arrhythmogenic cardiomyopathy, dilated cardiomyopathy and long QT syndrome. 

Cooperation

Dr. Rootwelt-Norberg is part of a collaboration project with two large European Centres, Maastrict University Medical Center, Cardiovascular Research Institute Maastricht, Netherlands and IRCCS Instituto Auxologico Italiano, Laboratory of cardiac arrhythmias of genetic origin, Milano, Italy. This multi-centre project is funded by the European Research Area Network on Cardiovascular Diseases.
