Academic interests
My main research fields have been emergency medicine and intensive care medicine, with main focus around cardiac arrest management. Especially post-resuscitation care, prognostication and long-term outcome for comatose cardiac arrest patients.
I have been involved in RCTs, observational- and registry studies, and experimental animal studies in cardiac arrest pig models. In addition, I am also involved in studies around traumatic brain injuries, post-traumatic stress symptoms after ICU treatment and methods for improve standards and treatment for intensive care patients in general.
