I graduated from my PhD in 2017 at the University of Toulouse, France where I studied the role of adipose tissue extramedullar hematopoiesis in mouse and human on the development of metabolic disease.
I later joined Dr Lorena Arranz' research group Stem Cells Ageing and Cancer, my main project has consisted in studying the role of the oncometabolite succinate and its receptor in healthy and malignant hematopoiesis.
I was also involved in the project studying control of inflammation in AML development through IL-1RN, which was published in the journal Nature Communications in 2023.
