About the group
Center for hematological research at Ahus was founded in 2015. The long-term goal is to establish a stable research group doing clinical, epidemiological and translational research on hematological patients in collaboration with other research groups in Norway and abroad.
Projects
The group participates in a number of research projects.
Academic studies where Ahus is sponsor
- The CAP-study. A study of apixaban as treatment of venous thrombosis in patients with cancer.
- The Palm study. Precision therapy versus standard therapy in Acute Myeloid Leukaemia, Myelodysplastic syndrome, or Chronic myelomonocyte leukemia in the elderly.
Academic studies where other hospitals have the main responsibility collaborating with Ahus
- Remnant study. A study of multiple myeloma.
- Brave. A study of new biomarkers for diagnosing deep venous thrombosis.

- The group is involved in a number of studies sponsored by the industry. For example including patients with chronic lymphatic leukemia, multiple myeloma, myeloproliferative diseases, and venous thrombosis.
