Recent technological advancements have enabled scientists to quickly generate transgenic mouse models to meet specific needs.
Point mutations, small insertions and larger insertions can now be achieved using different methods, all employing CRISPR/Cas9.
In collaboration with the Rockefeller University, novel approaches for generating transgenic mouse models will be adapted through The Norwegian Transgenic Center. This will enable scientists in the community to generate specialized research models rapidly for a fraction of the costs.
Join us to learn about the new advancements and how your projects can benefit from this technology.
Presentations by Juliana Bortolatto from the Rockefeller University and Knut Tomas Dalen from the Norwegian Transgenic center will be held.
This will be followed by a discussion and question session, where scientists can discuss project-specific topics.
If you have any questions, you can contact Associate Professor Johanne Jacobsen.
