Skills in the study plan Oslo 96

This is an overview of all the skills that must be learned in the course of the study programme (as set out in the semester handbook), linked to relevant services offered by the Skills Centre in connection with the various skills.

The “learning acquisition level” column:

1. Have seen the skill being performed

2. Have performed the skill myself on a mannequin/phantom/fellow student

3. Have performed the skill myself at least once on a patient

4. Can perform the skill independently

The “learning acquisition method” column:

a. Clinical service/bedside small group teaching

b. Presence on ward/at polyclinic without organised teaching

c. Use of Skills Centre

d. Specially arranged courses (i.e. not at the Skills Centre)

The “continued in semester” column:

Indicates whether the skill acquisition continues in a later semester or is completed (S) in this semester.

The “SC (Skills Centre) service” column:

We offer four types of services at the Skills Centre: courses, rooms (equipped for skills training), videos and e-learning programmes.
