NOR-Openscreen

NOR-Openscreen is the Norwegian node of the EU-Openscreen infrastructure project. The high throughput chemical biology screening platform at NCMM is one of the four nodes in NOR-Openscreen.

NOR-Openscreen is the Norwegian node of the ESFRI-project EU-Openscreen and represents the Chemical Biology and marine bioprospecting expertise in Norway.

NOR-Openscreen is a national infrastructure network that aims to offer high throughput screening technologies and resources to public or private users. This national infrastructure consists of 4 screening nodes located in Oslo, Bergen, Trondheim and Tromsø.

NOR-Openscreen supports the discovery of biologically active substances in all areas of the Life Sciences by providing transnational, open access to the most advanced technologies, chemical and biological resources as well as expertise through Europe. NOR-Openscreen is coordinated by UiO, by NCMM Director Janna Saarela, with the University of Tromsø, University of Bergen and SINTEF (Trondheim) as partners.
