Dr. Javier Gutiérrez-Fernández, postdoc in Leonid Sazanov’s group at IST (Institute of Science and Technology) Austria, will give a guest lecture titled, "Insights into the structure and mechanism of bacterial proteins and complexes"
Professor Frank Sobott, Chair of Biomolecular Mass Spectrometry at the Astbury Centre, University of Leeds, will give the talk titled, "Dynamic protein structure: from protein disorder to membrane pores"
Dr. Mika Rämet, of PEDEGO research unit, University of Oulo, Finland, will give a talk titled, "Zebrafish as a model to study Mycobacterial infection".
Ankur Garg, PhD, will give a talk titled, "Structural and functional analysis of ribonuclease ZC3H12C mediated regulation of immune responses"
Marieke Kuijjer, of Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Harvard T.H. School of Public Health, will give a talk titled: "Understanding cancer using integrative network models"
Dr. Chris Wallace, Senior Research Fellow, MRC Biostatistics Unit, Cambridge University, UK, will present her research on "Conditional false discovery rates in genetic association studies of rare diseases and disease subtypes”.
NCMM will host a mini-symposium in Systems Medicine and Precision Medicine.

Ana Domingos, Principal Investigator of the Obesity Laboratory at the Gulbenkian Science Institute, Portugal, will give a lecture titled, "Sympathetic Neuroimmunity for Obesity".
Lars Jansen, Principal Investigator of the Laboratory for Epigenetic Mechanisms, at the Gulbenkian Science Institute, Portugal, will give a lecture titled, "Chromatin-based epigenetic inheritance".
