Professor Stefano Stella's research is focused on the identification and functional characterization of molecules such as CRISPR-Cas complexes, TALE/BuDs and homoendonucleases that can be used in precise genome manipulation applications.
To understand the molecular details that regulate the interaction between nucleic-acids and the proteins, Professor Stella employs molecular, structural, and cell biology techniques.
