The event is designed to showcase the brightest and the best of the Nordic life sciences, and bring together decision makers from biotech, pharma, medtech, finance, research and policy and regulatory authorities for three days of networking, discussion and brainstorming.

Academic Catwalk

NCMM Group Leader, Irep Gözen, opened the conference as the first speaker at the Academic Catwalk event. This session saw life science innovators present their research in three-minute elevator pitches, showcasing intriguing research that could be the base for next generation therapies.

Dr. Gözen was part of UiO:Life Science and life science clusters’ initiative to promote Norwegian Life Science at the NLS Days conference, with support from the Research Council of Norway and Innovation Norway.

Dr. Gözen is a leader of one of UiO:Life Science’s newly established convergence environments, Programmable Cell-like Compartments. Her group’s research focuses on using soft biomaterials, such as lipid membranes, to mimic the behaviour of living cells. Read more about the Gözen Group’s research.
